Week 6: The possible outcome

What motivates me to keep going

What keeps me going isn't necessarily money, or any other possession.

What keeps me going comes from a quote I came across and it said,

"You ask me what I would do if it doesn't work out.”

Well not working out isn’t my biggest concern because by the time I realise it won’t work out,

  • I'd have tied more that my pears

  • Failed more - I learnt more lessons

  • I'd have a lot more experience

  • I'd have more faith in myself

  • I'd be more productive

  • I'd have pushed myself to the limits.

It doesn't matter how much money you make, how many car or houses you have. What matters is whether you are satisfied with the person you have become because majority of the time, you are with yourself. Which means the first person you should make sure is satisfied with who you are is yourself.

Being truly grateful happens when you look yourself in the mirror and you feel happy about who you have become. When you are not happy about who you have become regardless of how rich you are:

  •  Gratitude will become a myth

  •  Life will become a burden

  •  You will not be satisfied with the things you have accomplished

  •  You will start sacrificing other people’s joy for your own

  •  Compassion and Empathy won’t exist

Do not lose yourself in the process of making yourself better.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read the diary. Hopefully it provided great value. If it didn’t, don’t hesitate to let me know.

Tell me what you didn’t like.

See you in the next one.
