Week 12: The art of showing up
Always pushing for one more rep.
iMprovement Diaries
The hardest thing is showing up and not seeing results.
I am currently in this situation right now and what I can tell you is that it is one of the hardest parts of the journey. You know what you should be doing but you just don’t do it. Partially due to not knowing what to do and the other part is not knowing if it’s even work and an extra part for not knowing if you should even be on this path.
Here’s something you need to keep in mind.
Competition will come. The winner is the one that lasts longer.
You are stupid if you think that nobody will come along and try to delivery your product in a better way. Someone will have opinions about your product, and they will seemingly have an advantage over you and that you will soon go out of business, but truth is, their entrance into the market approached a customer demographic you hadn’t reached before. This will make it easier for them to come across your product and see more benefits because you have more knowledge on it.

Do it without seeing the benefits.
Keep your head up when you are down and keep your head down when you are up.
Envisioning the future can be a good boost in motivation but when overdone, it distracts you from completing that task that are immediate. The tasks that set the foundation of those dreams.
Don’t spent too much time dreaming and spend more of you time bringing those dreams to life.

If you want to perform much better than your competition
Here’s something to consider is you want to last longer:
Volume.
It’s not always about the quality of the product. It has a lot more to do with how much attention it gets.
How would you get more attention (apart from great marketing)?
1.) Volume
2.) Price
3.) Accessibility
4.) Quality
The best example of this matrix is companies like
Ø Temu
Ø Shein
Ø Amazon
Ø Alibaba
How to last longer
1.) Create systems
- Eliminates decision fatigue
- Promotes discipline
2.) Stack the small wins
- Wake up earlier
- Sweat everyday (Mentally, Physically, Spiritually)
3.) Seak growth. Not results.
- Reduce the amount of getting and increase the amount of making.
Thank you so much for reading the diary.
Your support is much appreciated.
See you in the next one.
